Don't miss out on the vibrant entertainment and delicious dishes you've been craving all year! We can't wait to see you at the 51st Annual Greek Festival featuring an exciting sports theme, surprise "flash" raffles and big-ticket prizes.
We would like to extend a very special thank you to our major sponsors for making the Festival a huge success - US Bank, The Old Spaghetti Factory, CGI, Bank of the West, The Sacramento Kings and Angelo, Katerina and Drosoula Tsakopoulos. We appreciate your generous support! Along with those sponsorships, the parishoners of the Annunciation have reached into their pockets to help cover Festival expenses. We are truly grateful for your donations! Your support allows us to raise even more funds for our church and for charity, including our donation to the Special Olympics of Northern California.
And where would we be without our volunteers? From baking pastries over the summer to staffing our food and beverage booths all weekend and everything in between, we want to sincerely thank our amazing volunteers for stepping up to make the Festival possible. Many of you join us year after year and we truly appreciate your service to our church and community. Did you know that all these volunteers make and serve over 30,000 food items each year just to get ready for the Festival
This year's festival celebrates the Hellenic roots of competitive sports, and we're thrilled to team up with the Sacramento Kings, River Cats and Sacramento Republic FC to celebrate our theme. Dinger, the River Cats mascot will pose for photos on Saturday and the Kings Dancers will be there to greet you and perform a special Greek dance. All three teams will also host merchandise booths and donate exciting prizes for our raffle.
Also new this year - flash raffles! These will be several spontaneous raffles conducted throughout the Festival in addition to the big raffle on Sunday. We're giving away fantastic prizes including a framed print by celebrated artist Gregory Kondos and game baskets donated by our Sacramento teams.
We look forward to seeing you on the dance floor.

The 51st Annual Greek Festival is almost here and we’re teaming up with the Sacramento Kings, River Cats and Sacramento Republic FC to celebrate this year’s “sports” theme. Furry team mascots will pose for photos and the Kings Dancers will perform a special Greek dance. All three teams will also host merchandise booths and will donate exciting prizes for our raffle. In the spirit of this year’s sports theme, a portion of Festival proceeds will be donated to the Special Olympics.
This year we once again welcome celebrated artist Gregory Kondos, who will be honored in a special ceremony Saturday evening. Another event to look forward to – a “hands-on” lesson on how to work with phyllo in the demonstration kitchen. On the main stage, you’ll enjoy the vibrant sounds of Takis Kokotas all three days of the Festival.
We are also grateful to our sponsors stepping up to make this event a great success!

We are grateful to our sponsors for stepping up to make the 51st Greek Festival a great success!
Exciting plans are underway to publicize the "Competitive Sports Started in Greece" theme, featuring support from the Sacramento Kings, River Cats and Sacramento Republic pro soccer. We'll keep you updated on the unique entertainment and raffle prizes offered by our fantastic local teams. This year's sports theme also celebrates our rich culture and the roots of competitive sports dating back to the Ancient Olympic Games in 776 BC.
Further celebrating our rich culture is the fantastic food we offer. Our patrons visit us year after year to enjoy delicious dishes and pastries prepared by our wonderful volunteers. Please refer to the Festival cooking schedule. We are grateful to our regulars who join us every summer, and we also encourage newcomers to participate in this wonderful tradition!
Thank you to all of our generous sponsors.
